Marriage ceremonies in Scotland Fees
Whether religious, spiritual, or more humanist in nature, Rev.Andrew Hunter, Ordained Interfaith Minister and Celebrant - creates beautiful, personalised and heartfelt ceremonies to honour and celebrate the special occasions of your life......weddings, vow renewals, civil partnership, baby blessing and naming, funerals and memorial services, separation and divorce, house and business blessings
Legal marriage ceremonies and marriage blessing ceremonies - very little is as beautiful as when two people, deeply in love, declare that love and their commitment to be together and express this intention with a marriage ceremony of the heart. The beauty of having an Inter Faith Minister as your celebrant for this truly sacred and special experience is that you create exactly what your hearts desire. Whether you are of the same or different religion, have no religious beliefs at all, or live life more spiritually, or perhaps resonate more with Native American or more earth bound traditions, the possibilities for a ceremony are endless and can include particular religious elements if required or be more spiritually focused without reference to religion. For me the ultimate key is Love in its highest form.
A ceremony created by an
Inter Faith Minister will truly reflect the uniqueness of you as a couple and will be tailored to meet your requirements.
In Scotland I offer a full legal marriage and blessing ceremony, given a licence from the Registrar General. Bookings are now being taken for 2011 and 2012.
Please note:- My last appointment in Spain will be 24th November. As from 25th November 2010 I shall no longer be offering ceremonies and services
in Spain. As I work throughout the whole of Spain
as an independent minister, I do not hold an address list of local priests and ministers.
I regret therefore that I am not in a position to know of, or recommend other ministers so please do not e-mail or telephone me to suggest a contact. Such e-mails will not be replied to. The best I can suggest is that you contact a wedding planner for the area of your choice by doing a search on-line.
As your celebrant in Scotland, I will be involved as much or as little as you wish in creating the ceremony. I can make suggestions and recommendations for music, readings, vows and procedure and will be honoured to be with you on this important day.
Thoughts for the way, thoughts for your day
Mile by mile, life's a trial.
Yard by yard, it's not so hard.
Inch by inch, it's a cinch.
-- Proverb
There is a very famous song given in various renditions by many country singers; it’s called, “One Day at a Time!” I love it as an anchor and reminding me that an important key to progress on the spiritual path, or if your not very spiritual simply the path of life, is to take things one step at a time.
Just as investing a little on a regular basis builds long-term wealth, the little gains we make each day pay off in spiritual dividends.
Taking it one step at a time means living in the present moment, in the now, letting life gradually reveal itself to us, to unfold as nature would have it. Some people get really agitated and want to know the final outcome, even five years down the line but don’t take time even to set their vision.
But how can we know an outcome that hasn't yet occurred, is so far off in time? Over and over I have had to learn to trust in the process, that the perfect result will occur. May not be the one I would specifically want at the time, but it usually is right for me. And I have learned to take faith in that.
When our faith wavers, we often get ahead of ourselves, we take control (faith means allowing God to take over the helm) and try to figure out what is going to happen and spend tons of energy trying to force things to happen – and then wonder why they don’t! And why we get so exhausted and disillusioned.
This "future tripping" removes us from our source of our Divine guidance in the present. Sometimes we try to hit it big in a hurry. But there is no fooling the Universe. Sooner or later we will have to go back and retrace the steps that we skipped, learn the lessons we avoided.
Whatever your goal or desire, approach it one step at a time. Small measures consistently taken guarantee progress. A dollar a day in your piggy bank soon mounts up. Eventually you will emerge victorious, having attained a reward that you have truly earned and a life you probably never even remotely dreamed of.
