The Power of Love - relationship retreats in Spain

Too often couples tell me that they are chasing their tails, they just cannot get the time to attend to all the important details, not just of their forthcoming ceremony but of what is important to them in their relationship; it seems there are too many distractions.

Many churches insist that couples attend a series of sessions or courses to prepare for marriage but I prefer to see these as voluntary.

Therefore, I offer a five day (four evening) non-denominational retreat in Andalucia, southern Spain.

For couples who would like to take time out from busy schedules to explore the meaning and purpose for their relationship, married or otherwise, through which they can develop strong foundations for a lasting union.

I am not here to provide the answers but over the five days to help you explore and find your own answers to what is important to you in your relationship and what it takes to consciously keep it fresh, alive, and enduring.

You will explore:

what is marriage? What is a relationship?
the importance of commitment, vows and promises
really getting to know yourself and each other and what you each bring to the relationship
your expectations of the relationship and of each other
how to honour and appreciate your differences as well as your similarities
the art of communication, resolving conflict
spending time together, nurturing your friendship
making each other feel loved
developing a good sexual relationship
the importance of talking about your goals, values and dreams
planning and preparing your blessing ceremony

Opportunities will be provided for each couple to have a private discussion with one of the event facilitators. Included in the package will be a follow up telephone discussion some weeks after the event.

And it isn't all about work; the event is organised to give you plenty of time to relax, maybe explore the surrounding area, and we also bring in people like wedding planners, photographers, florists to answer your questions and to show you a range of venues used to catering for wedding and commitment blessings.

Costs £495 per person (includes event fees, accommodation, four dinners, four breakfasts, and three lunches. Air fares and taxi fares to the venue not included.)

Terms and conditions - a non-refundable deposit of £95 per person is required. The balance is due 28 days before the start date.

In the event we have to cancel, all fees will be refunded.

Partial refunds available depending on how close to deadline you cancel.
