Andrew Hunter Ministries - an introduction

Andrew Hunter Ministries The Need for AHM

This website exists for one purpose - to promote peace and well-being both individual and planetary healing and peace. Where there is healing there is peace, and where there is peace, people can heal and become whole again.

There are many ways to promote peace in the world but perhaps the best way is to create it first within ourself (or be aware it is our natural state then find it or I prefer rediscover it by stripping away all the layers of conditioning and unnecessary limiting thinking!) then extend it to others in our every thought, action, and deed. Andrew Hunter Ministries encourages anyone anywhere to find ways to bring about peace at individual, community, and international levels.

Our key aims are to help people

  • heal and come to know their true Selves (which is Love)
  • live from the inside out, find peace of mind and heart in a seemingly chaotic, complex world
  • become beacons of light for others in a world that seems often dark and chaotic
  • move from selfish seeking, to selfless service
  • awaken, to live in consciousness - to be aware moment by moment of what they do and why, of their relation to others and the planet
  • to live from a higher vibration of love instead of fear and greed
  • take a mystical approach to life and living, and seek a direct union of the human soul with the Divine through contemplation and love
  • be the peace they seek (Mahatma Ghandi)

To fulfil its aims, Andrew Hunter Ministries, works in a number of ways - through eg :

  • The beauty and the love in ceremonies and celebrations conducted in English and if requried Spanish, French and German eg wedding blessings, civil marriage ceremonies in Scotland, baby blessings, funerals, memorials and other ceremonies
  • The power of prayer, contemplation, lectio divino
  • The encouragement and teaching of meditation
  • Teaching people how to heal as well as offering individual healing sessions
  • On-line broadcasts
